Hello again,I’m Jeanine!
I’m a registered nurse turned UX designer based in Houston, Texas. I enjoy making products as useful and usable to a wide range of people.
My background in nursing has helped me truly empathize with users so I can create products that meet their needs and solve their problems in a similar way I have understood and cared for patients in the past. Being a healthcare worker has provided me with other invaluable skills such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail that have helped me make a smooth transition into UX/UI design.
My goal as a designer is to create designs that not only look good, but also function well and are intuitive for users. Additionally, I want to focus on accessibility and its ever-present importance as we rely so heavily on digital devices in many different situations. I’m excited to bring my unique perspective and skill set to make people’s lives easier and to help influence the way people interact with technology in a positive way.
When I’m not designing you can find me playing video games, drawing, online shopping, or on a long walk with my dog, Astro :).
